About Me I’m primarily a dubbing mixer and have recently gone freelance after working at the Rapid Pictures Post Production facility for the past 4 years. From humble beginnings as a tea-boy I’ve worked my way up and can now boast over 100 broadcast dubbing credits, working on programmes for all the major UK channels such as BBC1-4, ITV, Channel 4 and Five as well as international credits for NHK (Japan) and Discovery US. A small sample of the work I’ve done is listed in the central column of this page. Previous to working in television I worked part-time as a sound engineer at Skan PA Hire, a Reading-based high-end live sound company. This gave me an excellent base of audio knowledge and a wide range of experience, which has led to long hours re-wiring and upgrading the audio suites at Rapid. They now offer the latest Pro Tool HD Mix systems. Outside of Broadcast Dubbing, I like to get involved with musical projects and dubbing on a lower budget scale. I recently mixed a short documentary film ‘Money For London” made by young production team, Pig Farm Productions. The film has since been nominated for an award at the End Of The Pier Film Festival in New York, which I’m thrilled by. In terms of music I have been working with a number of vocalists from the UK and USA as a songwriter and producer, but also enjoy engineering for music recording sessions.
